Beyonce appears on the cover of In Style next month, talking about gaining weight to play famed singer Etta James in the upcoming Cadillac Records flick.
"I gained almost 15 pounds to play the role," Beyoncé said. "It was way easier - and tastier - than having to lose so much weight for Dreamgirls."
Beyonce got to play Effie finally and she loved it! The mechanical hand must have weighed a lot, too. She also says that the recent revelation that she's indeed Mrs. Hova has changed her outlook on life, curled her hair, put more money in her bank account, let her take private jets more, etc.
"This is a new chapter for me," she says. "I'm terrified, but excited. It's like I'm a new woman."
Didn't Juliette Lewis yell that in Natural Born Killers? "I'm A NEEEEEEEWWWW WOMAN!" As you can tell, Beyonce bores me to actual tears.
