Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen was just released from the
hospital this afternoon after receiving treatment for a throat
infection that was "severe" and "potentially life-threatening,"
according to Momsen's doctor Shawn Nasseri.
Us Weekly reports that the 15-year-old actress checked into the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday, where she remained until checking out today.
According to the source that dished to the mag, "She thought it was just a common cold, but was advised to see an ear, nose & throat specialist before getting on a plane back to New York." But now, Momsen appears to be on the mend and is "in unbelievable spirits."
