It wasn't just Jordin Sparks who felt the need to speak up in response Russell Brand's jokes on stage during his hosting gig for this year's MTV Video Music Awards. After Brand referred to President George W. Bush as a "retard," he received some very disturbing correspondence.
During a radio interview, Brand said of the VMAs, "That was a lot of fun, especially the death threat." Jokingly, he added, "If you are going to kill someone, don't give them advance notice, that gives you a chance to prepare."
