UPDATE: Police have identified a suspect in the case, according to MTV News. William Balfour is a black male in his 20s and should be treated as armed and dangerous. Authorities have confirmed that Hudson's nephew, Julian King, has been kidnapped.
The 1994 white Chevy suburban that police are looking for is registered to both Jennifer Hudson's sister Julia Hudson and Balfour, leading authorities to believe that the two were engaged in a romantic relationship.
Possible license plate numbers are: X584859 or a green Chrysler Concord, with the license plate 332K823.
Neighbors first reported hearing shots around 8 a.m. and there is no evidence of forced entry.

According to the medical examiner's office in Cook County, authorities arrived to a South Side residence where the bodies of a woman and man had been discovered shot and killed.
The home was under Jennifer's mother's name, and police were dispatched to the residence where they discovered the two individuals to be unresponsive at 2:44 p.m.

A tragedy like this makes me realize how much I take life for granted every single day of my life. I will remember this the next time I am having a bad day and feeling sorry for myself. It seems quite pathetic how everyday life problems seem so minimal when an event like this takes place. First off i would like to say i am very sorry what happened to your family. This was something that shouldnt have happened.
