However, now Kate Winslet is facing accusations from British tabloids that her curvaceous figure had been whittled down considerably through the use of airbrushing techniques.
An airbrush artist gave the Daily Mail their two cents on the photospread and claimed that Winslet's face and figure were highly retouched, so much so that the title of the article said the actress was "barely recognizable."
In response, Kate's rep refuted the claim to People magazine saying, "[Kate] is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots." Touch-ups were only made to correct skin shades, her publicist insists.
Please, at least it's not like Mariah Carey whose photos consistently look like she was painted onto the hood of a shiny Cadillac Eldorado.
