One of the President Elect's celebrity supporters, Beyoncé Knowles has offered to sing for Barack Obama during the presidential inauguration ceremony in January.
Knowles told the Associated Press, "I'm there. I can't wait. I feel like all of us, we're ready to do whatever we have to do. Whatever they want--if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I'm there, and I'm ready."

I sincerely hope they opt to get someone with some gravitas..aka, staying power. "Timeless" is the image I am going for.
I was thinking maybe, I dunno someone with some class. I can do without the diva-esque element in such a historical event.

I mean bey is great to entertain, but She should not sing, she could attend. But jeeze that hefa is not humble at all. Imean comon yall she is just tryna pump herself up. I bet she is the only one to beg to sing. Where as others would not put Obama on the spot like that. JEze that girl needs to share sometimes, and realize that that night is not a gig to make her more famous, but a historical moment. One where someone with class should perform.

I have one other comment to make. Beyonce, everyone can see right through you. All Beyonce wants to do is sing at the inauguration for publicity, attention, and to promote her music. This is going to probably hurt her career in the long run because it just doesn't look right.
