We all understand why Hollywood stars want to look their best on the red carpet with a little self-tanning here and there. But the fine line between "sunkissed" and "Oompa Loompa" is all-too often blurred, as demonstrated by these celebrities who just can't seem to break their addiction to all things bronze.
So keep in mind that whenever Jennifer Lopez is singing "I'm Real," she's not referring to her hearty, hearty tan.

Ehm.. Vanessa Williams is Black? Not sure why she is "tanorexic". Remember she was "the first Black Miss America"? Duh.

Jlo & Mariah @ the same event & no drama? I'm impressed. I hope Benny Medina can get Jlo back on track after she went downhill post marrying Skeletor.
As for Vanessa Williams: she is bi-racial, much like every other 'black' celebrity that is considered beautiful (Halle Berry, Alicia Keys, Vanity ....) I am waiting for America to accept a someone w/ strong ethnic features as beautiful.

I'm the very first to think people tan waaaay too much.
But I didn't think some of the pictures were the worst. Brittany Snow didn't look all that dreadful to me. Not like a Oompa-Loompa. And some of the other celebrities weren't so bad except for the lines - their colour itself wasn't as bad as some others. I think Aubrey is worse than Mariah and she's nowhere on the list.
There are much worse pictures of tanno-Lindsey and Paris than you included.

Does anyone else think the bridge of her nose looks dented or pushed-in? Like her nose was made of playdoh and someone took their thumb and just squished down the bridge a bit. Looks weird.
Allie says:
Vanessa Williams technically isn't bi-racial, her dad is. Her mom is 100% black, but VERY light skinned. Neither have the blue eyes her AND her brother share. Genetics are funny like that.
