Nicole Kidman will star as a transsexual in The Danish Girl with Charlize Theron.
The film is
based on the true story of Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener,
whose marriage became complicated once Einar (Kidman) stood in for a
female model that Greta (Theron) wished to paint.
What began as a
lighthearted game eventually led Einer to a 1931 operation
that both stunned the public and threatened their marriage. And no it was not an appendectomy.
