UPDATE: The body found in a car outside of Paula Abdul's house last night has been identified as Paula Goodspeed, a woman who tried out for American Idol's fifth season in 2006. Goodspeed was featured in a featurette on the show about her love for Paula (she had numerous drawings she had made of her) and her unique fashion sense. TMZ has a clip of her audtioning by singing "Proud Mary" and not making the cut. Simon Cowell, in particular, mocked Goodspeed's braces. Ouch.

That's not us being cute, a dead woman was actually found outside of American Idol judge and gift to the world Paula Abdul's home in a car last night. Yikes? And these pictures of Paula dancing a jig at the premiere of Criss Angel's Believe show in Vegas were taken BEFORE a corpse was found near her front lawn sprinklers, we assure you.

The unnamed woman, who was reportedly stalking Paula according to TMZ, was found dead of a possible drug overdose in a car a few yards from Abdul's house of loopy.

Ventura County authorities were alerted by the woman's parents around 3 PM yesterday that the deceased was missing. They were also told that she might be in the vicinity of Paula's house because of an "unnatural obsession" with her. Police have reportedly had to deal with this lady "numerous times before."

Why didn't Paula just invite her ass in to share  her usual voddy with Phenobarbital chaser and avoid this whole having to OD in the car sad situation? You know Paula was loving the stalker drama. Come on - new judge on AI? She knew she needed to step up her fame game before Simon gave her the hook.

I can't believe she took her life. All because of someone's ignorance, she will never reach her full potential and parents will never be able to embrace a daughter again. I really do feel sorry for not only her, but her family. It's a life that will never come back and for what? Because Americans feel like it is there duty to humiliate people, while trying to make themselves feel better. American Idol represents a majority of Americans. I don't know why other nations look up to a country whose citizen's believe it's okay to hurt other people. I think that since this incident has occurred, they show implement some rule where the do psychological tests on the contestants.
