George Clooney, the essence of debonair (we've all forgotten his time on The Facts of Life), issued a statement to E! about his feelings on the recent ban on same-sex marriage in California due to Proposition 8:
"At some point in our lifetime, gay marriage won't be an issue, and everyone who stood against this civil right will look as outdated as George Wallace standing on the school steps keeping James Hood from entering the University of Alabama because he was black."
Not only did he say something very intelligent but he probably wore a tuxedo and had a very dry martini in his hand while doing so. Flawless.
Here he is filming some sort of advert for Nescafe. He even makes selling out look like a Cary Grant moment.
