Fledgling actress and bikini enthusiast Audrina Patridge gifts us all with the revelation that there will indeed be a fifth season of the only show that matters on national television - MTV's The Hills.
"There is going to be a fifth season," Patridge says. "We just found out."
Things looked bleak there for awhile. Patridge just got through sobbing over rumors that idiot Lauren Conrad had supposedly banged Patridge's....we're still not sure how to address what he is to her exactly...Justin Bobby. Plus, the utterly fascinating Whitney Port left for New York City and her own spin-off, the imaginatively titled The City.
"At one point, all of us were like, 'No, we don't want to do another season,'" she says. "I wanted to do more movies, and Whitney moved to New York and she's doing her own spin-off. And Lauren's dating [My Boys actor] Kyle [Howard] but he can't be on the show because he's on another show, so that makes it hard."
We know, dear. And however did you deal with those Lauren running her fingers through Justin's greasy mop rumors? Kickass Prince shirt by the way, no joke.
"It was really hard -- one of his best friends that told me that, and I called Lauren and she hangs up on me," Patridge says. "And then once I sat them down and talked to them, I was like, 'Okay, this is all I needed!' You'll see it on the show. It was very emotional."
"One of his best friends" = "Hills producer disguising his voice".
