Dubai was the place to be the other night at the grand opening of
Atlantis, The Palm Resort and the Palm Jumeirah where a multitude of
international stars showed up including a very blonde Natalie Imbruglia, newly-anointed web mistress Mischa Barton and Lily Allen.
Like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, club openings are just one of a few of Lindsay Lohan's favorite things. So she was of course on hand for the event in all black accessories and her hair pulled back in a sleek do. The other Fergie (the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson) was there looking simple and elegant in black.
Charlize Theron, however, stole the show with her sweeping white gown, while Mary-Kate Olsen ended up just looking like she had swaddled herself in a shiny bed sheet from the hotel where she was staying. As a "screw you" to PETA, she's secretly got wearing a fox fur thong underneath it all.
But my honest-to-goodness favorite outfit was worn by Wesley Snipes, who decided to go in costume as an Oscar statue.
