Between the flashing lights, the high heels, hair flips, booty-shaking, it's amazing that no one in the audience experienced seizures. Or maybe they did and were carted out before things got too awkward.
OK, how cute was Queen Latifah when she held up her hand when B asked to hear from the single ladies in the audience? And how is this woman able to run around on stage like she does AND sing live? Being her must require endless pots of coffee.

I'm sorry -- she looks awful doing that dance. Flap, slap, jiggle, jiggle. She looks like the girls that practice their "routine" for weeks and then debut it at the dance and think they look hot. She has no real dance ability or technique (and apologies to her mother if she made her home-made outfit,) but her legs looks like tree trunks in that get up. (And no, mine aren't any better, but then again, I'm not flapping around out there on national television.) It's supposed to have been patterned after dancing great Gwen Verdon's routine, but it definitely falls short.

Really Beyonce???? a Hoochie dance that's the best you can do and you're trying to be Iconic????? I don't think so, anybody can do a hoochie dance....i agree with above, she has no dance ability or technique....

I think it would be fair to say that she was lip-synching. Why she even bothered to hold a microphone is beyond me.
Ron says:
What's with the haters? Beyonce killed it (as usual)! She is the Tina Turner (and them some) of this generation and no one calls Tina a hoochie mama. She was NOT lip-synching either. Beyonce is a beautiful, talented, hard-working young woman who deserves respect, not put downs.
