Using a stake of good cheer straight to the heart, Four Christmases star Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn easily overtook the vampire romance Twilight at the box office this past weekend.
In its opening weekend, the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart vehicle raked in an impressive $70 million, but in its second weekend ticket sales dropped off a stunning 62 percent while Four Christmases pulled in $46.7 million. Still, the young bloodsuckers have managed to pull in a total of $120 million so, which is no small feat.
Maybe this successful opening weekend will change Reese Witherspoon's tune about getting into the spirit of the season. It's a Christmas miracle!
