UPDATE: The Cook County state's attorney's office has just officially charged William Balfour with the murders of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew.
He's been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion.

For the three murders in the Jennifer Hudson case, William Balfour has been arrested by Chicago police according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The 27-year-old ex-husband of Jennifer's sister Julia Hudson was previously in custody on a parole violation and has now been transferred to the hold of Chicago police.
Charges in the homicides of Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King are pending approval by the Cook County State's Attorney's office until which time Balfour will be held in in the Wentworth Area.
