On the cover of the latest issue of her bible to millions O, 200 lb. Oprah appears besides the formerly svelte Oprah.
"I'm mad at myself," she writes in the magazine. "I'm embarrassed. I can't believe that after all these years, all the things I know how to do, I'm still talking about my weight. I look at my thinner self and think, 'How did I let this happen again?'"
Well, you're busy, big momma. And plus - your years-long battle with your waistline has helped women (and men) all across the country identify with you. It's part of your realism and charm.
Here she is leaving her hotel in NYC, looking like a million bucks in a gorgeous orange gown. Who cares about the weight? She looks regal!
"O" says that a thyroid problem has given her a "fear of working out" (didn't she run a marathon?) and that she's packed on 40 pounds.
"Yes, you're adding correctly; that means the dreaded 2-0-0,"
Winfrey says. "I was so frustrated I started eating whatever I wanted -
and that's never good."
Political prophet Winfrey also says she wanted to skip an April 26 taping of her show with Tina Turner and Cher because she felt like a "fat cow."
Oprah, you are probably going to be president of this country someday. Lighten up, girl.Photo Credit: WENN

She's a fat cow and would need to have her mouth sewn shut to lose weight

stolidog says:
That's nice Zeke.
Seriously, why would a thyroid problem lead to a fear of working out?
stewie says:
That is all part of getting old ... more sedate lifestyle, slower metabolism .. gaining weight is natural.
However, you can tell by her build that she is supposed to be a heftier size so she could only fight fate for so long.
Zekers says:
I was wondering the same thing stolidog. Under-active thyroid makes one feel tired and does tend to increase weight, but exercise is recommended...her statement doesn't make sense.
Nebraska Librarian says:
I vote for zeke's idea.
misty says:
Screw all of you negative people! Unless you've been in this distressing situation...you'll have no idea how it feels. My heart goes out to her.
