MTV is reporting that banana rider and Lily Allen fan Katy Perry and her boyfriend, Travis McCoy of the band Gym Class Heroes,
may have gotten engaged. McCoy and Perry were reportedly in Paris when
he kissed her with a diamond ring in his mouth. Firstly, I don't want
your bile on my ring, thanks. And secondly, that could have been a
choking hazard!

Sources say that Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman and dad Anthony Kiedis almost died from kidney failure last summer as he was in and out of Cedars-Sinai due to kidney disease. "Anthony's health was pretty bleak," a source says, especially since Kiedis was all up in the drugs in the past. "Organ failure was a possibility. There was talk of how to get him on a transplant list, to cover all the bases, but that opened up a whole new can of worms because people with histories of drug and alcohol abuse are less likely to receive the organs they need." Kiedis' reps deny that he had kidney disease.
