Jeremy Piven is claiming he can no longer perform on Broadway's "Speed The Plow" due to extremely high levels of mercury.
Piven wasn't feeling well, missed a couple of shows, and was finally diagnosed with an overachieving mercury count yesterday. Luckily there are droves of actors lined up to replace him,
which playwright David Mamet says is a sign of "great heroism and friendship."
Well, at least it's more creative than "exhaustion" or "adverse reaction to medication."
Jeremy Piven will no longer play, what
E! News describes as, a "sleazy, power-hungry studio exec." OK. As long as he lays off the "tuna" and returns to his other gig as the sleazy, power-hungry
studio exec on Entourage, all will be fine in my world.
