Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes may have a conversation starter if they ever do lunch. (And they'll totally be able to share Diet Cokes, too!)
Some really observant folks pointed out that Tom Cruise's two main lady loves (well, alleged lady loves), Katie, the current, and Nicole, the ex, have more in common than being a good 3 inches taller than Tommy.
It seems both women have caught a nasty case of the oral herp! Or herpes labialis if you're feeling all fancy and medical-like. Both women have been photographed with bright, shiny cold sores in the past few days.
Dude, Tom, for real. Clear that nasty stuff up. You don't want Suri's precious facade being ruined by your disease.

Ignorance is an amazing thing.
80-90% of the adult population of American has HSV-1, which typically causes oral herpes -- only 20% or so actually get symptoms beyond a first outbreak. 1 in 5 Americans (1 in 4 women) has HSV-2 which typically causes herpes "down there" -- what's more, 90% of people have no idea that they have HSV-2 to begin with (that could mean you, the person laughing over this item as you read through these comments)
So yes, the odds are good that Tom and his two wives probably have herpes in some form or another. But who cares if Tom Cruise or anyone else has herpes of any sort? The stigma is ridiculous since most people have it already. Everyone needs to get over this.

Katie has always gotten cold sores. She used to have them on Dawson's Creek all the time, covered up with a butt-load of make-up.

What a ridiculous story. 80-90% of the population will carry this virus in their lifetime. And what does the writer propose will "Clear that nasty stuff up", given that herpes simplex (which causes coldsores) does not currently have a cure or a vaccine?
