After flying off on a Latin American vacation, E! has confirmed that Gossip Girl character Aaron Rose has left the show and is taking actor John Patrick Amedori with him.
The report claims that Serena van der Woodsen's artist boyfriend was not well-received by fans and "the powers that be" during his story arc on the CW show. As a result, his last appearance on the show was the Dec. 8th episode in which he packed up and took off for Argentina.
As for what this could mean for the on-again, off-again Sam and Diane relationship between characters Serena and Dan Humphrey? Oh, they'll keep teasing us with their flirtations, but it sounds as if they're going to keep stringing along GG fans for at least a few more episodes before hooking back up again.
