Best known as the equally leggy best friend of Cameron Diaz's character from What Happens In Vegas, actress Lake Bell recently granted SOCIALITE LIFE an exclusive interview to talk a little bit about her most recent projects, online series Childrens' Hospital and feature film A Good Old Fashioned Orgy.
The brainchild of her Vegas co-star and Daily Show regular Rob Corddry, the original web series Childrens' Hospital (www.thewb.com) stars Bell as one of a number of oversexed members of hospital medical staff whose pesky jobs keep getting in the way of their personal lives.
SL: Hospital shows these days seem to be more about all the sex the staff are having and less about the patients. Do you think it's because doctors are getting more nookie?
LAKE: Wait--it's doctors that are getting more nookie? Shit, I knew I picked the wrong profession.
SL: We all know being famous doesn't come with a handbook. What's the most most awkward celebrity moment you've experienced so far?
LAKE: My most awkward (yet incredibly flattering) celebrity moment is realizing that I'm not an actual celebrity. It happened when I was walking the red carpet and I heard the photogs screaming: "This way, Miss Peet!, Over here, Amanda!" Maybe instead of the word "celebrity" we can have a word that represents the working-actor-that-some-people-totally-recognize-sometimes-but-not-always-and-therefore-definitely-can't-be-labeled-as-a-celebrity-yet? LAKE: Debauchery, happiness, pregnancy, guilt, lawyer.
SL: In a perfect world, who would be the attendees of your ideal good old fashioned orgy?
LAKE: The guest list to my ideal Good Old Fashioned Orgy (coming out next year in movie theaters nationwide) would be me and all my multiple personalities. I don't think emotionally there would be room for anyone else frankly. That, and it'd also be a lot cheaper.

LAKE: The limited edition Obama Commemorative Victory plate.
