Russell Crowe Goes 'Gladiator' On Ridley Scott

Share
He might be an attentive daddy, but when he's on a film set, Russell Crowe is often the one behaving like a spoiled child. A spoiled child who could easily punch his fist through a wall.

And Crowe's temper is threatening to ruin his relationship with director Ridley Scott, with whom Crowe's career rocketed into international success when they collaborated on the Oscar-winning film Gladiator and American Gangster.

Now, however, tensions are high on the set of their latest project Nottingham. Crowe reportedly blames Scott for the cool reception their last film Body of Lies received.

A source revealed to Page Six, "Ridley is the only one who is willing to stand up to Russell and tell him he's too fat and that he can't show up four hours late to the set. He [Russell] wants someone he can control."

As a result, Crowe is trying to get Ridley fired from the project. You gotta admire a guy who's willing to possibly take a phone to the face in order to try and get Russell Crowe to behave.

You report this gossip story from Page 6 as though you know it's true... that's hogwash.

Why are you ignoring the part of the Page 6 story that quotes George Freeman, the big Hollywood agent to both Russell and Ridley. He says categorically, that the story is untrue. And worse, the whole "temper" and "acting childish" stuff is bs too.

You took a questionable, unattributed bit of gossip and added to it, without any basis.

If you believe what the Post says, I got a bridge I can sell you here on the east coast. It's in the same city the Post is published in.

Facts are certainly missing in this supposed "news".
Can you quote - accurately, mind !! - ONE story of Crowe acting like a spoiled child on set ? No, you can't.
As for "easily punch his fist through a wall" - pure slander.
Crowe's behaved himself for more than three years, and you are STILL pulling out these ancient rumours and innuendo. You need to catch up.

all that said...he still needs to cut his hair and work out a bit. whatever happened to the sexy gladiator?! he's still there somewhere!

go rabbitohs!

This is a gossip website. Most stories you read are full of speculation and quotes from so called "friends".
