Breaking away from the powdery blue, champagne and white neutral gowns of so many actresses this year, Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto chose a gold layered chiffon gown with Lorraine Schwartz gems and Roger Vivier sandals.
While the color looks great against her skin, the silhouette is a bit awkward from some angles---looking unnecessarily bunchy and lumpy, and not doing her slim frame too many favors.
Regardless, Freida's totally got that fresh-scrubbed-new-to-Hollywood-wow-wasn't-expecting-to-get-famous-look.
Which is a shame since that's practically a mating call to Jeremy Piven.
