Boy George Lives A Seedy Life

Maybe he'll be sent to jail and find God or something and realise the error of his ways and get his act together and avoid public toilets and diddlers and kidnapping people. Oh sorry, the public toilets is George Michael. Another London 80's idol gone AWOL.
Sigh, it makes me sad, all this seediness. I used to ADORE these guys as a teenager.

I really need Boy to get his shit together because this whole downward spiral thing that he's doing...again makes me very sad.

Nobody mentions that he recently completed a sell out tour, dj's constantly in the biggest clubs in Europe and has a designer clothing range and boutique. Nobody mentions that he's spent the past year learning from his mistakes, turning his life around and writing and making music. He's not sad, sick or seedy and the comments above are blatently homophobic. I wonder if they are from the US by chance. Sad people.

I'm a Yank from the U.S. and so are a lot of other devoted fans of George. We're not nut cases. Most of us are busy with careers or raising families and we have lives. George admired our President-Elect Obama so much that he wrote a song about him. Ade, whose comments are posted above, is correct in that George has in fact pulled his life together. His present legal circumstances are indeed unfortunate, but we in the U.S. support him just as much as fans in the U.K. For anyone who thinks Boy George has no sincere Yank fans, just ask the ones who flew to London to attend his recent trial. They weren't gawkers but there for support, along with others from Europe and the U.K.

It was purely the reporting of this case that really got me. I'm glad to hear I'm not a lone voice on this subject which one this trashy website which I found whilst doing a google search about George's court case. Let's wish him well today eh! x
