Anyway, she could care less what we think about her. She's gotten the honor of singing the song that Barack and Michelle Obama will have their first dance to on Inauguration Night - "At Last," by Etta James. Why not have Etta sing it. She's alive, isn't she?
"I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the First Lady," she says in a statement. "To sing "At Last'" while they have their first dance is a dream come true," she says. "I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history."
Just don't wear whoever put you in that mess. And don't go the camel toe bodysuit route. You looked good here. Stick with that.

should be dianne reeves instead. this is sad news to me. beyonce is just a bundle of vanity. i'm disappointed in obama for letting a mediocre pop star have the spotlight on this occasion instead of a true powerhouse like dianne, who is the obvious choice to anyone who is familiar with the range of contemporary female vocalists out there today.
