At the NRJ Awards in Cannes, "I Kissed A Girl" singer Katy Perry mistakenly walked off with the award for best international song. To be far, she didn't realize that it was intended for Rihanna's "Disturbia" when it was handed to the Betty Boop clone.
Perry, whose album featuring her infamous same-sex-smooching ditty did, in fact, win her the prize for best international album, was handed the wrong award.
At the end of the evening, host Nikos Aliagas acknowledged the mix up. To be fair, Katy is looking pretty damn stunning with her shiny black bob, red lipstick, perfect porcelain skin and white satin pant suit. It's understandable that someone might have become flustered and handed her the wrong award.
