The parents didn't rebuild New Orleans. They just promote everything they do. You should look closer into the organizations that are really working to put that city back together. These children are quite beautiful. they are not average in the least. I should know I am a photogrpaher.

all the other kids are quite beautiful as well. but what makes them truely beautiful is that they are a family thru and thru. a mixture of different background and cultures meshing together.

As for the parents yes they have done alot to rebuild new orleans and put more time in it that most celebrities did when they went on a marathon to raise money. all they did was write one check and go home to the spas (that would include Jen)

No this couple is well known in the french quarters and well known on the site that already has families living in houses built by thier efforts. go down to the site and ask them who angie and brad are. people there have even had dinner with them in thier homes. There are so many that have done more for the city but they don't have a publicist shouting from the rafters what they've done. However I also see the other side. When you compare them to other A-list celebrities they really put not only a large amount of money but also their time into helping those less fortunate in various countries around the world. There are not many celebrities you can say that about.

Sorry to burst your bubble Kate but there are dozens of celebrities who do so much more than Brangelina and never mention it. Steven Speilberg, Michael Douglas just to name two. They don't hold press conferences about their philanthropic endeavors to coincide with the release of one of their films. Look at the late Paul Newman if you want a class act of an A-list actor who gave from the heart unlike skank and skankier. They do this for the "look at me" sense of self-gratification it brings them.

I'm sure they all have donated but giving $8 million in one year doesn't seem like they are doing it for publicity, dont they have enough of that already. Who knows I dont know them personally but I commend them for giving their time.

If they didn't care about the publicity they wouldn't always announce it. It's the publicity. They want people like you and idiot kiki to admire them and praise their goodness. So lets say your famous, and say your one of the most famous couples on the planet, ok sweet, now we have our minds set straight. We are famous, and we are a couple. I go and cut a check for 1 mil to someone trying to rebuild ANYTHING ANYWHERE and you are going to have the media following you. They do mention their charity work in the media, but the media brings it up.
Bottom line is, they are doing more than they need to do, they are going above and beyond, and if it takes a lil whoring of your charity work to promote a movie that makes you more money, so that you can give more to charity...so be it. They use their celebrity in the right way. They don't need to call anyone for publicity that is reserved for untalented people who need the spotlight to keep them in the public's eye because they have nothing else going for them. These two hold a special fascination for the public - love them or (claim) to hate them. If they held no fascination for you you would skip by with indifference and if you're not indifferent you are interested in them. Most celebs sell their baby photos for money and pocket it to swell their coffers and spend it on themselves others know people won't be that interested in their babies so don't bother. These two donate the money and if you were in a desperate situation and assisted as a result of their donation you'd be glad of it if you claim you wouldn't well you are used to lying. Some people just hate to see celebs have it all. They are not a 'rainbow' family they are simply a family and a happy one by the looks of it.

I do think this picture is a staged photo-op - there are definitely nannies for this brood. This is the part that puts people off, this keeping up of 'appearances'. Most celebrity parents have nannies and do not make such an attempt to hide help from the public eye, which comes across as curious, when they are so busy claiming to be 'so busy' with kleenex and child puke.

Brad went so far as to call Angelina 'savvy' as opposed to 'manipulative' (which NY Times called her for exploiting the media), which was a clear admission of driving an agenda with the publicity, whether it is their image as a 'happy family' or 'do gooders'.

Most of the pushback is from people who don't want to be manipulated, and resent being fed a certain story about these two. Clearly, there are others who are willing to gobble it all up.

Depends on how processed you like your truth. Some prefer it raw.

None of my 3 would keep their sunglasses on when they were small. I don't know of too many kids who would wear them for long.
