Two memorable performances were delivered at last night's Grammy Awards when Jennifer Hudson and rapper M.I.A took to the stage.
Hudson's
soulful rendition of "You Pulled Me Through" was made all the more
poignant by the knowledge of what the singer has endured during these
months leading up to the awards season. In a flattering, spangled
cocktail-length dress, the singer kept it simple yet sparkly in a gown
that flaunted her curves.
Yet
another standout no stage was the super-pregnant M.I.A. who delivered a
show-stopping performance on her due date, no less! Stepping in
high-top sneakers and a in a black and white mini-dress that showed off
her bulging belly, the musician danced around on stage energetically
alongside Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and T.I.
Swagger, indeed.
