His entire time at this year's Oscars, Robert Downey Jr. seemed pleasantly surprised that he was even at the event, much less nominated for an award. It was cute. You almost got the feeling he assumed it was all a lovely dream.
And holy cheekbones, Batman! Writer of Milk and winner of the Best Original Screenplay prize, Dustin Lance Black was the epitome of sleek sophistication in a tux with his sideswept hair.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman on the other hand topped off what would have otherwise been a perfectly nice all-black outfit with a strange beanie. But when you're as good of an actor as he is, you get to wear whatever the hell you want.

Wow. It's it amazing that women have to be beauties to make it to the red carpet - yet the men - there's hardly a handsome handful here! Apparently looks are a requirement for the ladies only.
