Newsweek is asking this question, with the queen of romantic-comedy Julia Roberts poised to open what is essentially her first film in five years alongside Duplicity co-star Clive Owen.
Well-known for her smash success in the arena of romantic comedies, the sad truth is that these days, that genre of film is woefully suffering with few rare exceptions. But Julia still looks great and probably consoles herself with the millions upon millions she's earned over her prolific career of box office hits.
Also, it's hard to feel too bad for someone whose job has them hanging out and pretending to sex up Clive Owen.

never saw what was so great about her
isnt Jlo the new queen of romantic comedies anyhow? those are the only films she has success w/

I agree with Lucifer ... there's no way she's worth all that money she gets and apart from Pretty Woman & Erin Brochovich (I can't spell it!), her movies don't make that much money or do great at the box office. Typical Hollywood in building people up for no good reason! ...

Never noticed before, but is she looking like an older version of Emma Watson? -- (Hermione Granger in Harry Potter)

My vote is No.
This movie is going to bomb.
The trailer looks like a typical Julia Movie, open mouth laugh, hand on hip, while spouting off yet another snappy comeback.
Typical crap she's done for all her movies. Although it was cute the first few times, now its just plain redundant. That and she isn't in her 20's anymore..so "cutsie" comes off as "desperate".
