Although she was all bundled up for the unveiling of her new PETA ad, 82-year-old actress Cloris Leachman wore a dress constituted solely of lettuce leaves when she posed for the photoshoot.
Entitled "Let Vegetarianism Grow on You," the octogenarian vegetarian showed her support for the cause by taking on the role of spokeswoman for the animal rights organization. A PETA rep told Us Weekly, "With that big study out last week showing how skipping meat allows you to live longer, it's perfect timing."
It's a shame that Lindsay Lohan loves fur so much because that one is probably dying for another excuse to pose nude.

I doubt anyone's going to read this because this story is so old but are you guys for real? I think putting down a neglected animal that no one wants to look after is a little different to the slaughter of millions of animals every year so you can eat. Don't those have just as much of a reason to live to? Are any of you going to look after the animals that PETA needs home for? I doubt it so this is what they have to do because there are so many neglected animals PETA can't afford to look after all of them. It is necessary sometimes for animals to be put down because idiots out there don't de-sex their pets so they breed and make unwanted puppies, kittens etc. Once that happens most people can't be bothered finding homes for them so they dump them at some animal shelter and let them do the dirty work. God you people are so stupid you'll believe anything in the media. You're the hypocritic beelzebub.
