I really don't get what the big deal is here. IT WAS JUST A JOKE PEOPLE !
I'm sure Matt got a chuckle out of that and was even a tad flattered. As for his lovely 'baby momma' I would be shocked if she didn't feel the same.
Lighten up folks....it was all done in fun.

Carrie is so cute and sweet. she showed some class to apologize when she thought she may have offended someone. The joke was hilarious and way A-Okay but kudos to Carrie for caring enough to care about perception. So many stars these days could careless what people think of them. They act trashy all the time.

Probably not a great idea to brag about or even mention former conquests in the presence of your current girlfriend especially on national TV. But maybe that's just me.

Okay, apologize for what? The comment was so trivia. I'm pretty sure she was just letting him know that she's ^(&(*& interested. And she did it knowing darn well his date was there. Press re-wind and you will see her looking right of the stage where Matt was standing to make sure that he heard...go figure. The only reason Carrie apologized was to save her image as the sweet, innocent farm girl. She's not!! Right after making the comment, she said, "Just kidding." That means she knew EXACTLY what she was saying and what she meant. Her management must have freaked and told her to apologize. Carrie is such a phony and her voice is ear-piercing. She needs to go away FAST.

Carrie Underwood is an amateur hack who is fulfilling a contract for "winning" a talent show on television and a low grade award show rival, both of which relatively few people watch. Her career is based on economics, because she's a helluva lot cheaper than a seasoned professional talent, which she isn't and will never be. When her contract runs out we won't hear anything more of her and that's already started. She better get used to janitorial duty or working in a restaurant, because that's where she's headed already. The music industry says... Good Riddance!!!!

OMG!!!!!!Carrie, is the most beautiful, wonderful person that has graced the stage in years. Sorry to tell you guys but someone that has won all of the awards she has won and done what she has accomplished in 4 short years is here to stay. Like it or not. You better get used to Carrie being around for a long.....time. She is one of a kind and here to stay!!!!!!! She is a very sweet young lady. Gorgeous,gracious and has more class in her little finger than most people have in their whole body!!!!
