With her father Jamie Spears firmly holding the reigns of his daughter's professional and personal life, a tabloid report claims that Britney Spears believes she's being controlled through pharmaceutical means.
A snitch told the British mag Look that since her nervous meltdown last year, the pop star has been taking anti-anxiety drugs.
"As part of the court-ordered conservatorship, Jamie has to make sure Britney takes the correct dosage because she forgets to take them otherwise," the source claims. "But lately she's been nodding off randomly in the middle of conversations and is convinced it's because Jamie's giving her too much much."
Hmm, I'm thinking Britney's paranoia might be misdirected.

Okay: the man who gave her life AND put his life on hold to clean up HER mess, put her on the straight and narrow and back in business, she thinks he's drugging her. But the nimrods she was hanging out with (the reporter and the manager) she WOULDN'T believe they'd drug her until a 5150 was done on her. If I were papa spears, I'd just walk away. Let her fail. She obviously doesn't appreciate the help. Let the users "take care of her" - right to the poor house.

If she's really metally ill, and all the signs indicate that she is, then her recovery isn't going to be straight-forward. She is going to go through phases where she has trouble accepting who has her best interests at heart. You wouldn't abandon someone with clinical depression because after six months they are still talking about how horrible they feel. It's as real for them as her problems are to her. For him to walk away in order to 'let her fail' would be a disgusting act of abuse by anyone, let alone a parent. Frankly I think she needs to stay away from the spotlight until she feels better, but as I don't know the full situation I can't comment on whether she feels okay to perform, she may enjoy it or it may help to ground her and give her a purpose.

I have done a few google searches and asked my doctor a few questions and Mr. Spears may be in this for the money. My dad is currently on Zanax, which is an anti-anxiety drug and when I asked my doctor about what would happen as a result of a slight to moderate overdose of any anti-anxiety drug and he described it as the zombie effect. She is probably lip synching at these concerts because she is in such a daze that she can't remember 100% of her words to her songs. He needs her to keep being in a daze so that he can keep convincing the judge that she is incompetent so he can keep taking her money. Plus, if I were the judge in charge of overseeing this case, I would be looking into these accusations. He keeps taking trips and calling them business trips, and if I were the judge, I would be looking into these trips and seeing if they were actually business trips. Plus her financial affairs are currently being investigated by the IRS. Somebody must be doing something wrong.
