Despite some bad to average reviews, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine made a huge splash at the box office. X-Men Origins: Wolverine kicked off the summer box office with an estimated $34 million Friday, Exhibitor Relations reported today. The film's opening day is on par with the opening of Iron Man last summer which had a three day take of $98.6 million.

Meg says:
Eh, it was okay. It was slow going for me and the CGI looked cartoonish. I'm a little stumped how is blades could look so good in the first three X-men movies and look like they were drawn on by a three year old with a crayon in this movie.
Lindz says:
personally, i loved it! i agree, the cgi was off at times. not sure what that's all about.
but overall, it was beautifully shot, hugh looked HOT as did ryan reynolds.
the story line opened up so many new possibilities ... with weapon 11 and his brother and kayla's sister ...
i'm already looking forward to whenever they put out the next one!
