Hugh Dancy was looking in the opposite direction cause he thinks girls' nipples are yucky.
Hugh was starring in a broadway play here in NYC a year ago....or maybe a year and a half ago....and he was hitting the gay bar scene in Hells Kitchen and Chelsea (and looking for trouble at the David Barton Gym in Chelsea) night after night. I saw it myself. Back then (and even now) most people had no idea who he was. But some rags posted articles on him kissing other men.
I dont know if Hugh was dating Clare back then but he was a man on a mission to screw as many other gay men as possible. Not sure why he is hiding behind Clare.
In any event they were trying to shape Hugh Dancy as the next Hugh Grant but that didn't happen: he doesnt have the same acting chops...and audiences picked up there was something off about him. Hmmmm.

Claire looks like a man so no biggie. However, the acting chops of Hugh Grant, dude have you ever sat through a Hugh Grant movie? Hugh Dancy could act rings around the other Hugh by just walking in a room.

I stand corrected! I didn't mean to say that Hugh Grant is a fine actor. What I REALLY meant to say is that Hugh Grant has a huge stage presence and a lot of character all of which is why he has been so successful.
Hugh Dancy may be a better actor but he doesn't have that same presence.
I saw Hugh Dancy in some HBO (or Showtime) production on Queen Elizabeth I that I thought was just awful. Loved his curls but the acting range was deplorable.
Then Hugh starred in a movie with Claire Danes which bombed horribly. The NYT made note of both of their limited acting abilities in its review.
Poor Hugh is also losing all of his golden locks. Once his receding hairline becomes more noticeable its going to be hard to get leading man roles. Just look at Jude Law! Maybe Hugh can play Phil Collins in a Lifetime biopic after his hair is gone.
