When she wrote her autobiography On Your Own at the tender age of 20, Brooke Shields proudly informed the world that she was still a virgin. It was two years later that the model says she first had sex and that she probably would have done it sooner, had it not been for poor body image.
As unbelievable as it may sound, the nearly life-long model confessed to the magazine Health that she wishes she would have done the deed earlier in life. Shields told the mag, "I think I would have been much more in touch with myself. I think I wouldn't have had issues with weight. I carried this protective 20 pounds [in college]."
Good lord, if the pretty people are just as miserable as the rest of the world, what hope do mere mortals have?
