Brad Pitt began a little pre-production work on his latest movie Moneyball, which is based off the 2003 book, Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game. The film centers around the Oakland Athletics baseball team. Pitt will play Billy Beane, the A's general manager who assembled the team on shoestring budget with new technology to draft players.
Casting is being held right now for baseball players, and filming will begin next week. However, the film won't be released until 2011.
According to the director of the film, Steven Soderbergh, "I want it to be really funny and entertaining, and I want you to not realize how much information is being thrown at you because you're having fun."
Other than promoting his upcoming Inglourious Basterds, Brad has been spending time with the kids while his partner Angelina Jolie has been filming Salt. "Angie's been working, and I've got to be home a lot with the kids," he said. "Let me be the cliche -- it's really rewarding."
Other than the constant cleaning of pee off of himself, I imagine.

Same actors all the time in movies. BORING! It's like when John Travolta did about 30 movies in a row. Don't you think we get sick of seeing the same person in every film? Take a chance, studio executives! Go with the no-names who can actually act. Had John Travolta stuck with Saturday Night Fever, Urban Cowboy, & Pulp Fiction, he'd be a total icon! BUT NO -- he had to sell out and do crap films. We need more Johnny Depps.

Brad Pitt realizes that he has a face like a crusty old sponge and his hairline is receding faster than Jon Gosselin from a job fair so he is trying to make money fast to pay for his palimony when he dumps Angeloonie.
My bet is he goes back to Jennifer.
