This time the winning cause were the aid refugees in Pakistan. The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has pledged $1 million to aid refugees in Pakistan, where continued violence in neighboring Afghanistan and the resurgence of the Taliban have driven millions of people in the region from their homes. Last week the Brad Pitt family donated $1 million to establish an endowment fund to pay cancer specialists at St. John's.
Jolie will talk about her work in aiding refugees Thursday when she and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton celebrate World Refugee Day in Washington D.C.
I'm happy that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie live by my motto, "if you have it, give it."

I'm willing to give Brangelina a free pass because they donate a lot of money to charity and Angelina brings a lot of attention to refugees from her trips to Pakistan and whatnot.
But Angelina isn't really investing much sweat or tears by flying first class to Karachi and talking to some refugees which is all she is doing.

What Alyssa doesn't understand is that for every million they give away, they get back two million. Studios determine the size of a star's paycheck on a variety of factors, including box office receipts, magazine covers, power lists and most importantly, the star's level of visibility. Please stop claiming this is all some selfless act of humanity. It isn't.
