Now that Madonna's adoption of Malawi girl Mercy James has gone through, the pop star is readying her home by designing an over-the-top bedroom for the newest addition to her family.
And Madge was reportedly so impressed with how her buddy, Gwyneth Paltrow, outfitted her daughter Apple's room in the Hamptons that she's enlisted the help of the actress for the job.
A snitch told The Sun, "Madge wants Mercy to feel like a little princess when she arrives." To wit, she's purchased tons of teddy bears, porcelain dolls, leather-bound children's books and antique maps of Africa to hang on the walls.
The source also reveals, "As well as all the items inside, she's also commissioned a mini Georgian-style treehouse for Mercy and David in her garden." It will be built on space previously occupied by the tiny shed where Guy Ritchie used to live.
