With all due respect to everyone: the man was the worst kind of predator. He lured underprivileged children to his home and molested them. He paid off the families by settling his civil suits.

Fortunately, for a host of reasons, the standard of evidentiary proof in a criminal case is "beyond a reasonable doubt." Being found "not guilty" is not the same as being found "innocent." Unfortunately, the prosecution was unable to meet theis substantial evidentiary burden.

If he truly did not do it, why did he settle the civil suits against him for millions of dollars? It's because the evidentiary is burden in a civil action is 51%.

He is dead, have you no shame?? I guess you have first hand knowledge of the shameful things that he's done, if not you wouldnt be too confident in your insults..

June 25, 2009 10:21 PM

I agree with Name (required). He was not a good person in the later part of his life. He was talented, but he was also broken by something. It is really too bad that he tarnished his name with his actions.

May the ones without sin, come forward and judge us others?

RIP micheal you will be sadly missed my love goes out to your children, and family

I notice the last comment had no name attached, that's because you should be ashsamed to let anybody know your name, you disgusting human being, those without sin shall cast the first stone, and if this was true, you'd probably be dead already.

Thank you Michael for introducing me and millions to the world of POP music, for defining true magic, for being the influence that propelled today's artists to strive for perfection. You are the one and only. You are guilty only of having too big a heart, we love you always MJ

I really hope that all of you who choose now to bash Michael Jackson... (A True Legend)... now of all times never have the misfortune of having those who dislike you come to your friends and family when they are mourning your death and give their opinions of how disgusting of a human being you are, because you must be... you choose now to spew your hate and disgust... I feel sad for you and those who have the misfortune of loving you!

RIP Michael, Belssings and Prayers to all who loved him!

FROM LARRY HART:
It is with deepest sadness today that I have lost my friend,
Michael Jackson. Michael was a business partner, who became
a dear friend. I am the only composer on earth that Michael Jackson ever attached his name to a project that was not of his creation.

Michael was the Executive Producer (along with Jerry Greenberg),
Presenter and investor with his record company MJJ Music of my
stage musical "Sisterella". With his support, Sisterella went on to
do great things. While in Los Angeles, Sisterella received rave reviews,12 N.A.A.C.P. Theater Award nominations and 8 N.A.A.C.P. Theater
Awards including best Play and Best Director. In Europe, Sisterella
was voted show of the decade.

Michael Jackson changed my life with his belief in me, his support,
and his extraordinary talent. I learned many new techniques in the
studio while recording the cast album for Sisteralla from Michael,
and my days working on the album at Sony Music and at MJJ will always be cherished. Michael influenced so much of Sisterella, from the music, to the costumes to the award winning choreography by Raymond G. del Bariio. Sisterella was, in many ways homage to Michael. It was an extraordinary time in my life,
made possible by an extraordinary man.

To celebrate the success of Sisterella, when it opened in Los Angeles,Michael hosted a celebration at Neverland, and invited my family
and the whole cast for a day like no other. That visit became the first of many.

On closing day at Pasadena Playhouse, Michael came to see the show and see us off before we left to go on tour in Europe. For the European tour, Michael again was the Presenter and Executive Producer of Sisterella.
To this day, I attribute the success of Sisterella to Michael, his friendship and support.

The last time I heard from Michael was last October. He left a voicemail
message for me to sing Happy Birthday. I hadn't heard from him in a while, and that message is more poignant today, as it was surprising and touching then.

I will miss my friend Michael. You changed my life and I will always love you.
Larry Hart

Michael was a true artist, multi-talented individual that gave his all to people and fortune to many children around the world. I think he was taken advantage of and to stop these accusations he just settled. The pig and disgusting individuals are the ones that received the money. If I had someone molest my child, I would not receive money, I would want that person in jail so he would't harm anyone else. These accusations are obviously false.
He was an inspiration for many and gave too much to people that took advantage of his kindness. God bless you Michael!!! R.I.P.!!!

I can't believe anyone would care what any of those people would have to say about anything.

June 26, 2009 6:08 AM

Well no name you must be proud that you haven't done anything in your life that wasn't quite right! Maybe you need reminded that in this life none of us are PERFECT!! You should be ashamed that this is the time you decide to point out his faults! Michael like all of us have faults but this is the time when we should be celbrating his life not bashing him. He brought alot of joy into lifes of people all around the world! I can only hope that when your final day comes, people that know you comment on your good and happy times and what a good person you were and not your faults! GET OVER IT AND YOU HAVE NEGATIVE COMMENTS AT THIS TIME, WHY DON'T YOU SAVE THEM AND KEEP THEM IN THAT DARK HEART OF YOURS AND LET THE WORLD MORN THE KING OF POP AND A STAR THAT WE LOST THAT WAS A PART OF OUR ERA OF GROWING UP! MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND KNOW THAT YOUR MUSIC AND TALENT WILL LIVE ON FOREVER!!! GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY AND CHILDREN!

I believe the quote from Jesus in the bible was:

"Let he who lives without sin cast the first stone."

Folks Michael paid the ultimate price for his sins, let's show some forgiveness and rememeber him for his greatness and musical genius.

He was the Greatest. So sad That now everyone comes to his defence when he passes but not during his trials.

I am just shocked and sadened by all of the sick comments on here..R.I.P "Michael Jackson"

June 26, 2009 6:44 AM

God Bless you Michael. Im with the deepest sadness right now that I have lost a dear friend. He's an extraordinary man and never will be forgotten but truly missed. I will always remember the trip to his home town and the trip to CA and I will really remember the move to Las Vegas for a whole year but most of all I will remember him. My prayers go out to all of the family at this time. I love the Jackson's

June 26, 2009 6:58 AM

this day is going to be remembered by millions for years to come. One man has touched the souls of millions of people, i can believe that in every country, in every state, in every small town & in every house someone has today felt the loss of the biggest legend & icon..how people can still try to justify the sick accusations made against MJ make me sick..ok he paid out a settlement but those parents of the child that was supposedly abused had a price, if they were sincere & wanted justice they would have continued fighting for justice..a great man has lost his life & rather than tarnishing his name you should be saying a prayer for him. Look at the sins you commit before u look at others. I love u MJ & my prayers go out to u and your family. R.I.P

God bless The Jackson family during this most difficult time. I know what it's like to lose those very close to you unexpectedly. It's very traumatic. I can only hope he had accepted Christ at a point in his life and is now with The Lord. Only time will tell when WE ALL pass on. Those who make nasty comments need to look at themselves first. They have absolutely NO RIGHT to say a word about the sins of someone else. Especially since they don't even know him. Their judgment is coming as well. They will remember. My prayers are with Michael's family.

The world is saddend by the loss of a GREAT ARTIST. In the words of one of my favorite songs, "You are not alone". But his family at loss of a member. I hope that those of the Jackson family that still remember Jehovah God go back to him and seek him for comfort. Remember why we are here on earth and our job. Death is truly a sad thing but it will soon come to an end. My prayers are with you all, THE JACKSONS. REV 21:3,4

Greed played a major part in those accusations against Michael, as anyone in his position would know. Having been molested myself, money is not what molesters offer their victims. Michael was the victim here. Rest in peace Michael. Your loss is as surreal as the loss of Princess Diana was. Both of you touched millions of lives and gave back throughout your own pain in life. I wish his family peace...

June 26, 2009 8:07 AM

I remember driving around with my mom one day and telling her at her funeral I would be playing a Michael Jackson song. She said I better not. That is until I played it for her. It is called "Gone too Soon". I'm not sure which album it is from but it is absolutly beautiful. This was about 13 years ago. She died not long after as she had congestive heart failure. The whole church was in tears!!!! This song would be a great tribute to he and Farrah! God bless!

I beleive Micheal Jackson took his own life he was just tired of being micheal he commited suicide it was the only way he could escape himself

June 26, 2009 8:12 AM

Shame on the world for holding this man in such high esteem. A man who would rather have children in his bed than a woman. A man who has created and glorified his own image for years and snubbed God. Yes, he was very very talented, but it was God given. It could have been used for the Kingdom of God but was wasted on the kingdom of saton.

So many things have been said about Michael, the good that he has done and the bad, but we often heard of the bad. I have to agree with what Mira stated above, if Michael REALLY committed what people accused him of, why would the parents take the money and let him get away with it? Interesting point...however, you judge Michael...at the end he was a true legend, not only was he a great artist but also, the best of all time. Thank you Michael for showing us that music has no color boundaries...RIP

I was raised in a strict religious household where we were not allowed to listen to "devil music". We used to sneak across the street to the neighbor's house to listen to MJ's "A-B-C..." and "I'll Be There" songs. We'd dance all over the place to his music and go home full of childhoold romp and joy. He was the reason I couldn't wait to be old enough to listen to the music I wanted to listen to. Now, I'm 53 years old, still loving his music, just as much as the first day I heard him sing with the J5. What joy he brought to us as kids onto adults, and then later to my son. Wow! I'm hurt and still in shock. God bless his family and children.

June 26, 2009 9:11 AM

I went to my first MJ concert at the age of 11, front row, the only way to be introduced to the legend.I was hooked from the 25th anniversary special for Motown back in the 80's. He was truly a genius and I believe Geniuses die young, much tooo young in some cases. Mike you will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to the Jackson family and most of all the children.I just hope they can find the strength to get through this tough time.May GOD BLESS all of the Jackson family and friends.

June 26, 2009 9:57 AM

I went to his concert at 11 too.
My mother took me, I was
so humiliated because I had to go with my mom and not my older fri ends. But I loved it, especially
the song " Ben " about his pet rat.
And the ABC , and other songs.
I watched him on Soul Train too.
And that Thriller was off the chain .
May God bless the Jackson family,
and I sure hope someone didn't
overdose Michael . What a great talent and a great man . I will miss him .

The reality is that the world has lost an Icon not he U.S. but the world. There will never be another Michael Jackson. I will not cast a stone with my faults no matter how he chose to live his life, he is in peace. He had a choice to stay or go and he chose to go enough anxiety and panic attacks. Michael will be missed but not forgoton. His music will live on, from the Pacific rim to, Europe to Central america. Those who no better will see him again some day.
Rest in peace my brother rest in peace.

June 26, 2009 10:04 AM

If he did what they say he did...HE WOULD BE UNDER THE JAIL NOT IN IT!!! This is a great loss to THE WORLD.

I still can't wrap my brain around it...how can he be dead? He was the soundtrack to my childhood thru my adulthood. Rest in Peace Michael. You were one of a kind. My prayers go out to your family and friends.

Michael It's such a loss to me. You were my first CD, and almost my frist concert. I played you're albums over and over. I learned your dances, well tried atleast. You were one of my biggest heroes and trough thick and thin you stayed my hero. I never once thought through those accusations, you were of the least bit guitly. I love you michael Jackson, may you forever be the king of pop, and may you forever leave an impact on the world in every corner. My love and compassion goes out to you, your family, Your children, and all other in mourning. He will be with us forever. Rest In Paradise.

The very first time I heard the Jackson 5 I fell in love with their music. The very first time I saw the Jackson 5 perform on television, I fell in love with Michael. My best friend loved the Osmond Brothers - NOT ME !! I have been a fan of the jackson 5 to this day. When Michael went solo I was still a loyal fan.

Michael was not talented ...
He was gifted.
Michael was a gifted song writer, singer, choregrapher, dancer, and compassionate human being.
I am sure he was a loving son, brother and friend.

I will NEVER forget Michael Jackson... He was the first boy I fell in love with.
He was young at heart.
A trait which I wish was more common in the world today.

My condolences go out to the Jackson family and to all his personal friends that had the honor to know this wonderful person.

Haven't you people ever heard of not speaking ill of the dead? The world lost someone who irrevocably changed music, and he won't be forgotten. I respect MJ. Not for the things that people speculate he did, but for the amazing music he created and the kids, (including me) he inspired. Nobody can deny that MJ had amazing, incredible talent. RIP Michael, you changed the world.

I've spoken at length with Michael when he was quite young and still traveling with his brothers. Our fathers had struck up an airport friendship. My father was waiting for me and Michael and his family were waiting for a plane, both in Newark Airport. When we were all there, I had a chance to chat with Michael.

I asked him how he could keep up with his friends with all the traveling he does. He responded that he had no friends other than his brothers. He said that he was always in rehearsal or traveling. I would have guessed that he was about 6 or 8 yrs. old. As I had many friends, it struck me how lonely he must be. He confirmed that.

Despite the show biz friends he had as an adult, I've always wondered if this childhood feeling of lack of friends and loneliness stayed with him his whole life. What ever is the cause of his death, I don't think we can sit in judgment of him as we haven't lived in his shoes since childhood.

Saddened and speecgless!

June 26, 2009 12:28 PM

To the Jackson Family:

Michael's passing not only is a hugh loss to yourself but also to the world. Watching MTV today, it has brought back wonderful memories of my childhood. Michael taught us that music was and is to be enjoyed. I alwayed dreamed that one day i would be able to dance the way he did with great ease(that never happened). The energy and the beliefs that he had for his music was shown everytime he perfromed. Although his life was not perfect you and the rest of the world can be comforted in the fact that he is in heaven doing what he loved the best "making music"! Rest in Peace Michael and God bless the Jackson Family. May time heal the pain but the memories last forever.

June 26, 2009 12:42 PM

to everyone that have a commemt remember that people are judging you too, mj was a person that brought life and accusations of pain to all of us for things he was accused of we were not there at the times of pain mj is dead and we need to know what legency we are going to leave behind when we die. my prayers go to his family, and hope that joe his dad has ask mj for forgiveness of anything he may had said or done to him before he died and god will forgive all ugly deeds on both parties i am very sadden for pain that mj went through and the help the needed did not come to him. rip

Damn RIP MJ.......you will truly be missed...... puts a damper on my birthday... not in the mood to party now!!

MJ is not dead. Get that out of your head. He just moved on to another dimension where we'll all go one day. No doubt the prodigious talents he was given by providence has been literally taken to another level. I'm sure he is preparing a concert for all those who are mourning him today. Hey, that concert will really rock the cosmos!

HOLD ON> At 84 years of age I still enjoy his talent. A supreme artist, probably plagued by the jealousy of those of less talent.

June 26, 2009 12:59 PM

God gives us people like Michael Jackson sparingly. He was a very special person. He was full of talent and love for humanity. We will never have another one like him, maybe in the next life. I have loved Michael Jackson all of my life. I was gonna marry him (me and every other teenage girl in the world). MJ was beautiful, especially on the inside. I am still in denial to some degree. I am not ready to let go of this cultural icon, this great singer. It's been years since his career was on top, but one would never know it from the outcry heard around the world and from the ocean of tears that have flowed.
Rest Michael, you deserve some peace. But please know that you are loved.

June 26, 2009 2:00 PM

I JUST WANT TO EXTEND MY LOVE AND PRAYERS TO THE ENTIRE JACKSON FAMILY, HIS CHILDREN, FANS, AND DEAR FRIENDS. MJ WAS TRULY AN INSPIRATION AND DEFINITELY A BLESSING TO THE MUSIC WORLD. I REMEMBER PRACTICING THRILLER AND PERFORMING IT AT TALENT SHOWS WITH MY SISTER AND COUSINS. HIS MUSIC WAS REMARKABLE AND WHENEVER I HEARD HIS VOICE IT SENT CHILLS THRU MY BODY BUT TO HEAR THAT HE'S GONE IS TRUELY SAD AND SENDS A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHILL THRU MY BODY AND SOUL....I LOVE YOU MICHAEL NO MATTER YOUR FLAWS BECAUSE NO ONE IS PERFECT AND I WANT ALL OF THE CRITICS TO REMEMBER THAT !! R.I.P TO THE KING

June 26, 2009 2:09 PM

To the uninformed moron @ the top of the page,

Ok from reading your question "why would a celebrtity pay millions of dollars in civil settlements if they weren't guilty?" I can easily ascertain that you are a true moron. And people like you are the exact reaon why celebs do this. I'll tell you why. When someone accuses you of something horrible, the vast majority of people (like yourself) are not concerned with facts, they just enjoy talking about how screwed up other people are. This is done because it makes the morons(you) feel better about all of the horrible things they have done. But to answer your question he payed them, as would I, so his name wasn't on the nightly news everyday, for months and or years, being associated with the word petophile. If he went through the arduous procedure of vindicating himself it would take so long that his name would become synonymous with child molestastion. Which incidentally is why we have the whole " innocent until guilty" rule when it comes to such allegations. Because spirited inquisitors like yourself would have the man castrated or killed regardless of the truth. People like you think they are in the right and helping or cleansing society, when in fact you are the exact problem with society. An uninformed conclusion jumper who uses subjects that disturb any good natured normal person as propaganda to rally others to thier side and or justify thier own actions. I'd guess you might understand all of this if it were you being accused of something so wrong. But sadly folks like you only posses he ability to empathetic to themself. You do not understand life or society and would feel better if everyone was as scared and confused as you, hence your attempt to cast all that you don't understand as evil. So if you could please thank your friends, family, and other like minded folks for the witch hunts, holocaust, book burnings, and the thousands of wrongly accused that occupy our jails and cemetaries. Truth be told the only FACTS that you know about Micheal "the king of pop" Jackson are that he was an inccredibly gifted singer, dancer, performer, and human. He obviously was riddled with insecurities from spending his entire life being filmed, and sadly damaged his once attractive face with surgeries in an attempt to feel better about himself.
But that flaw was his and he pushed it upon noone else. A pratice you should try to employ in your life. My heart goes out to the millions of people mourning his loss of life. And I hope that his footprint on all of our lives remains as innocent and good natured as the man himself was. May he leave of all of his worldly troubles behind and be reunited with all those waiting all of our arrivals on the other side. And as for my uninformed and judgemental friend at the top of the page may you live long enough to evolve. Evolve into an informed and non jugemental person who may one day touch a fraction of the lives in such a wonderous way, as the man you so willingly portray as a monster. Bless you Jackson family " you are not alone" and R.I.P. Michael "The King Of Pop" Jackson.

my deepest smpathy to the famiy, may GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! We all lost a true artist in every sense of the word, His music will live on forever!!! Rest in Peace, micheal

my dad tells me this story all the time about how much michael jackson inspired him when he was younger, and now i'm a teenager and i'm pretty sure my dad made sure i had the pleasure of knowing just about every michael jackson song. for the people that like to bash him, didn't your mother ever tell you, "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all." Michael Jackson was truly an icon, noone I don't think will ever reach his level of success, he should be remembered for the good things that he has accomplished, not these allegations that noone has pure proof of except mr. jackson himself.
rest in peace michael jackson, my heart goes out to your family. I only wish that I grew up back 20 years ago so that I could have seen you in person!

To The Jackson Family
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND MAY ALL OF YOU FIND PEACE IN YOUR HEART IN THIS TERRIBLE TRAGIC R.I.P MJ YOU WILL BE MISS AND FOR THOSE HATERS STOP TALKING AND PRAY THIS GREAT MAN HAVE LEFT HIS BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN BEHIND I HOPE IT GOES WELL FOR THE FAMILY AND THEY FIND SOME SENSE OF INNER PEACE LOVE YA ALL

I grew up with Michael Jackson, buying the Jackson 5's 45s and later, Michael's albums. Like so many others, I absolutely LOVED "Thriller." As Michael changed physically over the years, I mourned the loss of that cute little chocolate brown boy with the perfect afro. Now I mourn the loss of Michael, the man. Obviously a tormented soul, his genius cannot be denied. RIP Michael.

Michael Jackson, despite all rumors and thoughts of what is true or not, has done what very few have.

Michael Jackson actually, and single handedly changed the world.

IT takes an amazing spirit to climb through the thick mass of this world and impinge upon another through music.

He has done this.

Rumors and the paper say that he betrayed the law...

Did he?

WE can acknowledge that he was strange, but so are you and i.

What I regret the most, is that while this amazing man was living, I was not able to acknowledge what he has done, so that he could hear it, read it, feel it in his own life.

I can say this now, but he is not here to hear what we say.

Why did we take the time that he was alive, and use it for ridicule and criticism?

When, secretly - we all know that if it weren't for Michael Jackson, quite honestly - the world just might not be the same as it is now.

And, it would not be a better world, but worse - for what he did bring in his art and in his communication was inspiration, dance, love and spirit, for everyone, continually.

He should feel loved and welcomed into his next world.

Thank You, Michael for what you have done, and for what you will do.

Harlen B

In reference to the comment with no name that Gina Kakouri touched upon. I think that all the allegations at this time are extremely outrageous, the poor family, friends and dear fans... The man was not accused of those allegations, in a court of law!! So why must others dwell and depict him, knowing that these claims were never proven to be valid. The family needs to mourn, and all the BS that people are carrying on with is simply absurd. As to the comment with no name, he may have been a troubled man, but honestly put your self in his shoes, the life he had, what he endured as a child, and as an adult, always in the public eye. The man can be as strange and twisted as he possible wantssss!! He did pretty well due to all the circumstance he endured during his life, so please stop bashing him. Take a moment and take a step back, and look at the situation from another angle. As to MJ, he is def. the king of pop, a truly amazing performer and talented man. He will be truly missed, and yet maybe he was a little "unusual", that still does not give anyone the right to bash him, ever. Like Marilyn Monroe says, "rather be completely ridiculous then plain old normal", he was original, and that says a lot compared to most individuals. MJ RIP, you will never be forgotten, Gold bless your children, family, friends, and fans- my prayers are with you all at this time.

I remember when the Jackson 5 first started. My prayers go out to MJ's whole family they have lost a part of them.
MJ gave us the best of his life with his music no one can say different.
Now for all you horrible people out there yes maybe something did happen, BUT MAYBE NOTHING DID, you will never know. However you blame him and only him. Well maybe you should be blaming the parents as well, that aloud their children to be in that kind of a Situation in the first place. where were they?
You need to remember his family is in mourning, have respect for them. He was still someones son, brother, and father, uncle. take a monment before you hurt people that shouldn't be hurt from your hate.
Hows they saying go? "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

I hope that people will do as I Have. I play the song from the early years like: ABC, Ben,and I'll be there, for my grandkids. Sure they listen to Thriller and the rest but I wanted to teach them where he started from. And I told him they use to live in Gary IN. not far from us. so he was a entertainer as well as a teacher. He showed kids that they can be what ever they want to be: a singer, lawyer. teacher. ect...
Thank MJ and the whole Jackson Family you were all great. may God Bless You.

June 27, 2009 9:47 AM

I just had to comment on that despicable person who insinuated that MJ was a predator. Were you there at the time this happened? Did you see this with your own two eyes? I personally believe that Michael was misunderstood and heartbroken by this cruel world. He tried many times to offer his goodness to the world to only be judged and misunderstood. To those of us who have led a very sheltered life, we are quite naive and only see the good in people until we are broken down....our heart broken into pieces. We are fearful of everyone and afraid to reach out for fear we will be rejected, once again. He never had a childhood, hence he chose to create his own childhood and loved to be with children. He could never recapture what he had lost in his formative years. He touched us because we could see the innocence and frailty and he made us feel alive and in love with the world. Who are we to judge anyone? I always saw the good and the child-like innonence in Michael and the love he emulated....never to be replace and never to be forgotten. He made our world a better place and left beautiful imprints on our souls and our lives.

June 27, 2009 11:34 AM

Maybe now he will finally find peace...the only "ONE" that needs to judge Michael has done so already...Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...too many judged him without the right too or for malicious intent and it destroyed the poor man...there was NEVER ...enough evidence for the wrongs he was accused off but there is TONS of evidence for all the good he did for children dying or underprivileged...he had a great heart and he was troubled much in the same way our young stars of today are...so much pressure to be this or that and he lost his childhood...he made poor decisions in his life and it was used against him for monetary gain...we all make poor decisions....he settled the civil cases to get it behind him not as an admission of guilt...the outpouring of love and well wishes he has been receiving all over the world leaves the naysayers like the above cold hearted and shameful comments in the dust...He was and always will be a music legend...Let us not forget that the last KING OF MUSIC that left us in the same untimely manner maintained a long distance romantic relationship with a 14 year old girl and had her move in with him when she was just 16...Elvis loved her and married her...she was still a minor and he too was and still is an icon and legend...so I find comfort in knowing that all people are worthy of forgiveness and I am confident that when its my time to go I will hear Michael Jackson's voice singing with the angels...he WILL be in heaven right next to Farrah...RIP ^i^

i would just like to say may farrah and michael be at peace now,and all my prayers go to the families of these people, i think alot of people forget these families need their grieving time just like ordinary people. my heart goes out the kids in these families and i wish them all the luck in the world.

I cried and cried when I heard that MJ died. Really spent the whole day sobbing on and off, talking with friends about him, and remembering how he not only represents the gift of genius in music and dance and live performance- but he represents all children who suffered through abusive in childhood in one way or another. I do think MJ probably had some innapropriate behaviors with young boys- some form of abuse- even if we dare to call it "light" abuse. Certainly when I was 13 - I would have been affected by an adult wanting me to sleep with him ( even if no touching happened) just utterly confusing!
Very difficult subject matter- to love and mourn someone and then to reasonably assume that some behaviors were not entirely healthy and even possibly damaging for some young boys. Is evrything black or white. Perhaps it was MJ himself with all his surgeries telling us ina physical way- not all black- not all white. Love and Peace to you MJ and all those who were close to you and all those children and adult/children who have suffered with abuse in childhood. Remember you are not alone- you can heal.

I have to laugh at all these people mourning for a pedophile and sure he was never found guilty (but had to pay millions in civil lawsuits)but either was oj simpson (but had to pay millions in civil lawsuits)if you ask me this is a waste of time and energy sure he made some good songs back in the day but the bottom line is he is a child molester and a freakin waste of space I SAY GOOD RIDDINS !!!!!!!

Michael was a freak and a disgrace to black people. The man was seriously damaged and to the idiot that said Michael changed the world you need a lobotomy. Michael didn't change the world all he did was make it unsafe for any child that came into his sick delusional world. You morons are worse than the brangeloonies.

I was not a big fan of all of MJ's music but anyone who could see or hear could not deny that he was truely a exceptional talent. One like many of us many never see again. Hearing of MJ's death was like hearing that an old family friend died. Michael Jackson has been a household name for as long as I can remember and I am 42. Let's all be considerate and pay tribute to the father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, humanitarian, artist and most importantly a child that God created and inspired, he was all of those things. Many worldwide feel the Jackson Family's pain. RIP Mike.

My heart is in turmoil by the lost of this multi-talented, gifted, artistic, creative, WORLD PEACE ICON. I have loved MJ since I was a child (4/1973). I can remember the best birthday gift I have ever received, my glitter glove and my red zipper jacket. As a child he gave me joy for the present and hope for all of my tomorrows. He helped me to learn and view people as people and gave life to the words spoken by Dr. King. 'that one day we would live in a society where people our judged by the contents of their character and not by the color of their skin. "It doesn't matter if you're Black or White." He united the world in ways that even the former presidents could not ever achieve. The tears continue to flow and the question to the Divine is why Michael. I am and will forever be his greatest fan. I am missing him already.

R.I.P MICHAEL AND FARRAH
I REMEMBER WHEN I GRADUATED PRE SCHOOL AND SANG WE ARE THE WORLD. I AM DEEPLY HURT BY HIS LOSS. MY MOTHER AND FATHER WERE FANS THE HAVE PASSED AWAY, I KNOW MY PARENTS HAD THEIR ARMS WIDE OPEN AT THE GATES OF HEAVEN WITH A SMILE ON THEIR FACE. I NEVER NOR ANYONE IN MY FAMILIED BELIEVED THE NEGATIVE COURT ALLEGATIONS IT WAS JUST A PLOY TO GET MONEY. YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSES. R.I.P.

My condolences to the entire Jackson family first of all. Mrs. Jackson, I greive with you my sister because as a mother myself I can only imagine what you're going through right now and I just pray that the Lord will bring you peace knowing that your beautiful, sensitive and most of all talented son (Luv you Michael) has finally found the peace that he so rightfully deserve. For the children I hope you little ones realize what a special, and wonderful father you were blessed to have. He was an Icon, a Legend known all over the world. You are special because God put you in Michael's care. God don't make mistakes and whenever you little ones hear negative things about your dad, take comfort in this, because God doesn't make mistakes and when he sent you guys down from heaven, he knew exactly where he wanted you to go, and that was to be with and cared for by your DAD. The whole world has suffered a loss, that will forever cause a pain in our hearts, because when I woke up on June 25th never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that this was going to be Michael's last day with us. I was just sitting in my bed crying in anguish for a while, then it hit me, Michael is out of his pain. He's at peace. The Lord has called him home. I know that heaven is rejoycing right now. RIP dear Michael...May God bless you, your children, your mom and dad and your brothers and sisters. There will never be another one like you. Love you forever....

June 27, 2009 10:12 PM

WOW! Nobody has the right to judge anybody! He has to answer to only "ONE". And that person is NOT able to post a blog! Part of his problems were people that judge. There arent any perfect people. Whatever his problems may have been they are between him and God. Sure he was a bit strange but if you were to truly look at yourself how "normal" are you? Let the man rest in peace! Remember that,YOUR KARMA IS YOUR ACTIONS AND MY KARMA IS MY REACTION". God bless Michael and his family and all the idiots out there that have all the answers to the all wrong in the world but do NOTHING to make it better. Give peace a chance! Peace out!

June 27, 2009 10:17 PM

^ I'm with you the man was sick and just because he released some mediocre songs and did some dancing he has been deified. Sad sick world we live in that people treat this freak with such reverence and respect. None of which he deserves. His ass should have died in jail. Where is the respect for his little victims.

June 28, 2009 7:41 AM

its a little shocking to me that michael jacksons death would take up half the the space in a well known paper, while farrah fawcett was given only a small blurb compaired to jacksons. it was bound to happen just as it was bound to happen to anna nicole. who are these doctors that can overmedicate their patients with hardly a slap on the wrist. i take medication myself for depression and anxiety, and prescribed the proper dosage for each. jackson was prescibed numerous medications for the same illness. and at 125 pounds i know that wasnt given any concideration. some one like you or i would probably be dead a long time ago. id be very interested in knowing what is going to happen to this doctor and whether or not his license will be taken away, as it should be. just the same as anna nicoles doctors license should be taken away. the way these doctors get away with this over medication its just a matter of time before we loose someone else, whether it be a celebrity or one of our own loved ones

I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT MJ IS GONE. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER KING OF POP. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND YOU WILL BE SURELY MISSED. PEOPLE SHOULD REMEMBER THE POSITIVE THINGS THAT HE DID, NOT NEGATIVE THINGS.NO ONE IS PERFECT.MAY PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS BE WITH HIS FAMILY.

ON BEHALF OF MY FAMILY AND I, OUR CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO MR. AND MRS. JACKSON, MICHAEL'S CHILDREN, HIS SIBLINGS AND THE ENTIRE JACKSON RELATIVES. I WANT TO PERSONALLY THANK MICHAEL JACKSON FOR LOVING HIS RACE ENOUGH FOR NOT USING THE "N" WORD,THE "B" WORD AND THE "H" WORD IN HIS MUSIC. I ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD MICHAEL JACKSON'S PERSONALITY AND NEVER DOUBTED HIS IMAGE DESPITE HOW THE MEDIA AND THE HATERS TRIED TO DEFINE HIM. REST IN PEACE MY DARLING MICHAEL, WE SHALL NEVER FORGET YOU.

I grew up on the music of the Jackson 5 then your music, i do remember going to high school after your album Thriller came and seeing guys and believe it or not some girls dress up as you. and no matter what anybody says on the other websites i will missed your music, singing and dancing RIP Michael you are home with the Lord

Mr.Jackson deserves the respect and needs to be left alone. Saying cruel things is not going to help him or his chldren. Mr. Jackson's music was great and his dancing moves and just the way he did his videos. I personally grew up with him and reeally did not lisen to him as a kid but when he did the real musci like thriller and black and white complewtely got my attention. Micheal had some hard times just like the rest of us and i hope he rest in peace. God Bless him and his children Barb

I was in a state of shock when I heard about Michael's death...I still can't believe it. He was the greatest of all, his music will live on. My heart goes to his children and family. I will never forget you Michael. XxXxX

As I sit hear I am listening to Michael's music and the tears are streamimg down my face, I will never forget Michael, he was a sweet soul put on this earth by God, and has shared his gift to us in his music and love.. He was/is a true Icon in this life and beyond.. for those of you out there who feel the need to judge Michael in your own harsh words, just remember one thing, when you stand in front of God on your judgement day, I pray for your sake that God will try to understand why it was, you laid your judgement down on your fellow man.. because there is not a one of us out here who hasn't sinned in one way or the other.. Michael may/may not have sinned in his life but that is for God to judge not you the haters.. Michael, may God keep you in his glory of heavan and you fly with the Angel's, because as far as I am concerned, you were an Angel here on Earth.. May god bless Michael and his family.. We will always love you.. and miss you alway's..

i was 11 when i bought THRILLER and that is when i first fell in love with music and dancing. i could not wait to watch MICHAELS latest videos on friday night videos. later i always defended him when those horrible accusations came about. i hate what Katie Couric wrote" sad and strange life" - whatever!!! it is sad he is gone but he had an amazing life and inspired many. he may have been ecentric , but we are all individuals- strange is an insult. I LOVE YOU MICHAEL AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY, ESPECIALLY YOUR MOTHER AND CHILDREN- GOD BLESS - OUR THRILLER IS IN GODS ARMS.

I am convinced that Micheal Jackson was a chosen one sent from the luminous height to help humanity.just like other prophets that were sent to us in the past .He may not be a leader of any church or religious group but he does preach to us through his music about courage, love, peace, kindness and harmony.
Brother Micheal i give thanks to the almighty for your life with us.Let's all keep praying for Micheal's soul untill he gets home to paradise where he truely belongs.

Death has always caused alot of unexplaineable things in the lives of those it touched.Michael Jackson though a public figure was yet a very private person, pls l plead with his family to allow him be buried asap. Let us give him that respect he gave himself when he was alive and bury him as he is and would always be Michael Jackson ,our super star.
Having a second autopsy or giving detailed information of his person or his death would do no further good. It does not matter how long one gets to live or how one dies, all that matters is how one lives.Michael U lived well, U used your God given talent and touched the lives of people around the world. Rest in peace. May God give your family and children the fortitude to bear their loss.Pls bury him asap..R.I.P .May His gentle soul rest in perfect peace.May God also have mercy on his soul and grant him eternal rest.Amen.

My condolences go out to the entire Jackson family, to his beloved children and all those who truly loved him.

Michael you will forever live in our hearts as the "KING of POP". You have inspired an entire nation of people and a generation of people to come. Your music, your signature moves, and your humanitarian believes for the good of those in need, are the markings you've left here on earth. For those who loved you through the good, the bad, and ugly can sincerely say, you will truly be missed. You've left a scar on those who embraced your talents, and respected your unique ideas that lead you to become one of the greatest.

Michael you can rest in peace knowing that you indeed changed the world and made it better. You've provided food for those who hungered, clothes for those who had none, smiles to those who lost there ability to smile, and a lifetime of memories to those who admired you. This is one of the many things Michael stood for, and what the media fails to mention.

My advice to those with the ambition to make it big. Keep in mind, you can never become big enough because the very people who made, you can also break you. Many new artist will come and go but, Michael will forever live through his music. For there isn't, nor will ever be, one like you. We love you. Always and forever. May you finally find yourself at peace knowing you've left our world with much to be greatful.
Thank you for the music.

R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson.
