The results from Michael Jackson's autopsy were not surprising. The results were inconclusive, and an official cause of death won't be determined until the toxicology reports come back. That is typically a six to eight week process.
Spokesman Craig Harvey did say there were no signs of foul play or trauma to the body and that Jackson was taking unspecified prescription medications at the time of his death.
The announcement comes following a private meeting between county officials and Jackson's family.
Before the press conference, fans gathered. They sang famous Michael Jackson songs, and some sold T-shirts that said "Michael Jackson: Rest in Peace" for $10 each.
Although some reports claim Jackson may have overdosed on Demerol, Brian Oxman -- who has served as the family's attorney for more than 20 years -- told Usmagazine.com he couldn't comment on the types of medications Jackson was taking.
