Miley Cyrus is into disturbing books. Go figure! The Hannah Montana star spent most of yesterday Twittering that Identical, a book by Ellen Hopkins, "is deff. in my top 3 favorite books of all time! :) so disturbing but beautifully written."
Identical tells the story of twin sisters, one who cuts herself to deal with the fact that her dad sexually abuses her, and the other who gets into sex, drugs, and alcohol to deal with the fact that her life sucks. Sounds like an nice, bright read!
Well Miley, I'm glad that you're reading. Remember, reading is important. May I suggest Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. It may not seem so hardcore, but read closely. Super disturbing.
