At the time of Michael Jackson's death, his mother was appointed as temporary executor of his estate while the search for a will began. Now that a 5-page document from 2002 has been unearthed, a judge has ruled that per Jackson's instructions in the will, lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain will act as executors for the late King of Pop.
However, Katherine Jackson is not pleased with the outcome and the Rev. Al Sharpton expressed as such on Good Morning America. The close family friend said on the talk show, "I think it has been very insensitive, particularly to this family, that you would even schedule a court hearing on the status of the mother the day before she has to go to the cemetery for her son. I mean, it's almost insulting."
Meanwhile, the lineup for the memorial service for MJ has been announced and a preliminary list includes Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey, the Andrae Crouch Choir, Berry Gordy, Jennifer Hudson, Shaheen Jafargholi (finalist on Britain's Got Talent), Magic Johnson, Martin Luther King III, Bernice A. King, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Brooke Shields, Pastor Lucious Smith (family friend), Ron Boyd (family friend), Usher and Stevie Wonder.
