Well, Lindsay Lohan got through the first week of being 23 without a hitch. It seems that her luck has ended. Lindsay is being sued in Tampa federal court saying that she and her Sevin Nyne partner, Lorit Simon, stole the formula for the successful Sevin Nyne tanner from a St. Petersburg chemist named Jennifer Sunday.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, Sunday's attorney, Marcia Cohen, says that her client only recently completed the ingredients used in Sevin Nyne and that it is impossible Lindsay and Lorit Simon worked on it for three years.
Sunday is suing Lohan, Simon, and Simon's company for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations and deceptive and unfair trade practices. Cohen claims that if Sevin Nyne is making a profit, then her client is entitled to that profit.
The St. Petersburg Times also learned that Simon ad signed a confidentiality agreement in January with Sunday's company, White Wave International Labs. The lawsuit claims that Simon and Sunday had been negotiating over tanning mists, but could not reach a set price. Apparently, Simon had told Jennifer Sunday that she a friend (Lindsay!) who would help them publicize and market the product once it was finished, while Simon's company produced it. You know, Lindsay did publicize. So if you think about it she kept up her side of the bargain.
Not gonna lie, I feel kinda bad for Lindsay. But I cannot wait to see what happens!
