A 2003 interview with the surrogate mother of Michael Jackson's three children, Debbie Rowe, reveals that she never wanted to be a mother. Rowe told Us Weekly back then, "My kids don't call me mom because I don't want them to. They are Michael's children. It's not that they're not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father."
Rowe plans to fight for custody of Paris and Prince Michael I, to whom she gave birth. In the interview, she also defended her decision to be completely hands-off with the two children, whom she claims Michael raised himself.
"I didn't do it to be a mother. Like I said, you earn the title. I didn't change diapers. I didn't get up in the middle of the night--even when I was there. Michael did it all. I am telling you that he is the most brilliant father," Debbie asserts.
This is going to be a loooooong custody battle. I hope you've got a comfortable seat.
