A serious-looking Gerard Butler chows down with the crew of his latest film Bounty Hunter in New York City. The Scottish actor recently chatted with Esquire magazine for an interview, revealing that although he held dreams of becoming a movie star, they seemed pretty unattainable for a boy raised in the small town of Paisley.
The star of 300 originally intended to become a lawyer--even going so far as getting hired by a firm, only to get fired. And as he puts it, "If I hadn't fucked up that job, I wouldn't be sitting here right now. I might be a very mediocre lawyer in some small town in the middle of Scotland."
In addition, Gerard took the opportunity to clear up any rumors of romance between him and his costar. Butler explains, "I start filming with her in two weeks. I think it's because she's single and I'm single. The sum total of our conversation was about four minutes at the Toronto Film Festival. The next day, the story is: Gerry Butler and Jennifer Aniston get cozy at the Toronto Film Festival."
Yup, that's about how we put it as well. Life is a lot less interesting when you're not jumping to conclusions.
