It may be almost 90 degrees in New York City, but that's not stopping David Arquette from chillin' in a plastic box for charity. David is currently in a plastic box atop Madison Square Garden to raise awareness and funds for the charity Feeding America.
Feeding America and its sponsor, Snickers, chose David based on his past work feeding the hungry in California, and David says he was so excited to help.
He's spending the next two days in the plastic box and doesn't really seem to mind the heat. "It is starting to get a little hot up here - but I had no hesitation saying yes." He's not even gonna get bored in a plastic box for two days. "I'm going on Facebook and blogging from here. Just passing the time hanging out. It's fun."
David's even hoping some friends might pay him a visit. Jennifer Aniston is working in the city; maybe she'll stop by and say hi. I think it's pretty darn cool for him to be doing this. Sure his tiny plastic box is nicer than most homes, but still. You try being atop Madison Square Garden surrounded by plastic in the head. It's not cool. Literally.
