As the 2009 Emmy nominations were announced this morning, television celebrities everywhere were either super happy or super upset. Luckily, we've got some reactions from the Emmy nominees who were super happy brought to you my E! Online. Check them out and let us know what you think!
Sally Field, whose is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work on the ABC show Brothers & Sisters said "As Brothers & Sisters enters its fourth season, it still is and always will be a great honor to be nominated. The only hard part is finding a dress...and a date." She's adorable. I hope she wins and makes a speech similar to one she made the second time she won a best actress Oscar.
How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the ceremony, and he is nominated as well for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He probably had my favorite reaction. "I love being in the mix again this year, but am absolutely over the moon about HIMYM's best comedy series nomination. The only multicamera show in the mix! This kind of recognition is huge for us. Just huge. It should be quite the night. Being asked to host the show--terrific. Getting a third nomination--fantastic. Having the ability to scribble my name in the envelope backstage when no one is looking--priceless." Do it Neil!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for The New Adventures of Old Christine, is quoted as saying, "I am truly delighted to be nominated, and I'm really looking forward to kicking Tina Fey's ass." Good luck. We'll just have wait until the Emmys to see if Tina Fey's lucky streak is broken.

Amy Poehler, who is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in Comedy Series for her work on Saturday Night Live quite possibly had the most excited reaction, "I am superpumped for some high-octane, heart-thumping, hardcore Emmy action!" She's making the Emmys sound like some sort of awful film Michael Bay would make. Meh, that's ok, I love Amy Poehler.
Sarah Silverman got a surprise nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on The Sarah Silverman Program. She had a Spiderman like approach to her nomination, "I understand that with this nomination comes great responsibility. It's about the kids. And homeless animals."
The Office star Rainn Wilson, is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Comedy Series and said of his third nomination, "I am supremely honored to be nominated for an Emmy for the third time. They say good things come in threes, like comets, omens and Jonas Brothers." Threes. Threes are good. Jonas Brothers are good. Wow, I got sidetracked. Bravo Rainn!
