For the third time, Angelina Jolie has made her way to Iraq as part of her role as UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. The actress arrived on Thursday to visit with displaced refugees in the Chikook suburb of Baghdad.
Jolie met up with four families and they discussed the issues they're facing such as the search for adequate housing, medical care and education for their children.
After talking with the head of one household, Angie expressed her sympathy for their situation by telling him, "It takes a lot of strength for you to survive this life. I don't know if I would be strong enough to survive this."
After her visit, Angie vowed to return for another visit and apprised the situation by saying, "The picture in this camp is a rough one but there are also some people that were able to return home to other safer areas. There are some changes. There are returns of displaced people, not a big number but there is progress."
