Kristen Stewart And Taylor Lautner Talk 'New Moon'

With New Moon being majorly hyped before it hits theaters in November and Eclipse going into production in Vancouver, stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart took to Entertainment Weekly to give us some news about the film. Not that there isn't much we don't know about New Moon, but it's always possible.

For those of you who have either read the books, or the Wikipedia summaries, you all know that Twilight and New Moon are basically two completely different entities. Sure Twilight has its sad moments, but overall it seems to be happier? Is that the right word? Whatever. New Moon, however, is basically one heartbreak after another from the get-go. For star Robert Pattinson, the fact that his character Edward barely appears was kind of a joy. "It was a stress-free job for three months. All the pressure was on Taylor."

Kristen also commented on the difference of making Twilight and New Moon. "[Making Twilight] was much more of a fight," Kristen told the mag. "We needed to make something commercial but stay true to the book. We didn't have enough money. It was all very impulsive, and that's what I love about that movie...But I think New Moon is gonna be even better."

Tons of drama occurred before the film could even go into production following the replacement of Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke for director Chris Weitz. And while that was going, there was even talk that they were going to replace Taylor as Jacob, so the poor kid had to campaign for the role again and show the producers he could get super buff. One of the main reasons he is still around is thanks to co-star Kristen. "It's completely understandable why they wanted to make sure he was right. He was so young, 16, so I got it. But I knew he had [to do] it. Just because of how I felt around him." How do you feel around him Kristen? "We have that relationship," she says. "It's lamely cute."

While it was easier for Robert this time around, Taylor had it rough thanks to some hardcore training. He tells EW, "My body fat got so low that we actually needed to increase it a little bit. My trainer would be like, 'Go have a huge milk shake just so I can get a thousand calories into your body.'" Lucky for us they did that. Look at that boy's six-pack. And he is way hotter without that wig. Like at Teen Choice Awards? Yay!
